What is a Performance Based Physical Capacity Evaluation (PBPCE)?

The PBPCE report is based on Hard Data Protocol (HDP®), which focuses on the disciplines of biomechanics and work physiology. Dr. Ted Becker has been acknowledged in all legal jurisdictions as an expert in PBPCE protocols, particularly the HDP® process which includes motor skill evaluation, endurance/stamina testing, strength and motion/flexibility, and validity determinations. each PBPCE report includes an explanation and commentary on the analysis and interpretation of the data and is backed by Dr. Becker's published research, and peer reviewed texts and journals.

The EPI Rehabiltation PBPCE forensic protocols include applied biomechanical analysis and where appropriate comparative statistical data handling that compares and contrasts pre-existing data from other fce, pbfce, or PBPCE reports. The EPI Rehabilitation PBPCE report has a unique comparative analysis feature which statistically analyzes redundancy testing over time that allows determination of fatigue, and determination of exposure tolerance for the examinee.

Most of the general public has had an exposure to PBPCE testing if during their scholastic years they particpated in a physical fitness testing. other general uses of pbpce testing is to determine pre-employment for fire departments or police departments, or in the military when the service men and women have to perform physical readiness tests. all of these PBPCE type protocols are identifying strength, flexibility, stamina-endurance, and the individuals ability to perform work related tasks. The PBPCE, PBPFCE, or FCE, do the same types of tests but in a way that evaluates not only general body sections but isolated body sections.
